At Vital we use industry standard, enterprise level, PACS and Voice recognition systems to enable us that produce high quality reports. Our systems are totally system agnostic and are compatible with all standard PACS and RIS systems, allowing for the rapid and secure transfer of images and reports including access to prior images.
Vital Radiology will install bespoke Radiology workflow manager software on to either a virtual or physical server within the client network. The software (RadiCube) is connected to the host PACS and requires HL7 inbound/outbound integration with the RIS. The client assigns a patient on the host RIS system to be reported by Vital. This triggers an HL7 message to be sent to RadiCube which initiates pulling of the current imaging and relevant prior imaging from the PACS and pulls the current request form/order comes from the RIS system.

This process can also act as a phased approach towards the full HL7 integration where appropriate.
