Vital Radiology can provide a full out-of-hours emergency reporting offered through our Moonlight service: ( runs from 20:00 to 08:00, 7 days a week). This service is an essential part of our Moonlight Model of care which prioritizes your emergency reporting needs and ensures timely support is provided to you 24/7. In under a 30-minute time frame, we have Consultant Radiologists connected to you in real time and ready to be a part of your service offering. We can provide reports within 30 minutes for stroke and trauma and 60 minutes for all other examination types. With quality assurance processes set in place to ensure that standards are maintained, your reports and referrals will be provided rapidly when you need them most.
To ensure ease of use we have a dedicated contact system that runs a 24/7 teleradiology reporting process where telephone calls can be made directly to the team throughout the service, out-of-hours and during weekends. With a fully transparent telephone handling system that monitors and records all calls made, our system has a full audit capability to ensure transparency throughout the contract. The backlog reporting service provides you with further flexibility as times are decided by you to meet your changing needs. Our timeline and volume agreements mean that we can scale our services to meet varying levels of demand, providing you with quality reports from UK-based radiologists when you need them most.
